Why start a blog...

I'm starting this blog as an outlet for me during my husbands upcoming deployment. Four years ago my husband and I decided together he would join the Army; it was something he had been talking about doing for some time. I am having a hard time accepting this deployment, although I knew he would deploy and I would be left behind, but I never expected us to have a child who would be left behind also. I hate to know he is going to miss out on any of our sons milestones. I have never seen my husband smile the way he does when he holds Fin, theres a light that brightens his face and his eyes gleam with pride and joy. He is a proud daddy!
